I want to be like Gwen when I grow up...

I found this photo of Gwen Stefani on one of my favorite blogs, Bulletproof Bracelets (BB). (click here to check it out) Usually I’m totally pickin’ up what BB is puttin’ down but I have to say, I think they got it wrong this time.



This photo is under the headline “This is a Bad Look.” And here’s the thing, I’m not suggesting I would wear this outfit. First because it reminds me of the plastic tarp-like outfits wrestlers wear when they need to drop 20 pounds of water weight before a match. Second, because I’m not Gwen Stefani.

Thing is, you need to see my “bad look” to fully understand why I can’t really fault Gwen for this outfit. I mean, it matches. It looks clean. It’s evident that she did her hair and her make-up. She even accessorized which tells me she really put some thought into it. I mean, look! Her bra even matches! (yes, Gwen...I can see it peeking out there)

My “bad look” involves Super Mario boxer shorts with glow-in-the-dark coins all over them, paired with an oversized Red Vines licorice t-shirt, and yellow flip-flops with swordfish on the straps. So I’m going to ahead and give Gwen a pass on this somewhat bold choice of casual wear. You go, Gwen.
