BWOT'S: Cool Places You'll Probably Never See

The second largest cross in the Western Hemisphere, located in Groom, Texas, population 587.



This was just one of the exciting attractions I got to see on my roadtrip with mom. According to the cross...um, managers?...this is a truly special spiritual experience. And I, for one, agree. What's more spiritual than a 190 foot steel cross, lit up at night and surrounded by scary truck drivers and other unsavory characters?

Nothing, I tell you. Just nothing.
